HPLC

The Core is equipped with an Agilent 1200 Series HPLC System which achieves high levels of sample throughput by the use of either binary or quaternary pumps and interchangeable autosamplers.  The dual-lamp design and the temperature control of the 1200 series diode array detectors ensure outstanding sensitivity.

GPC

GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) is an analytical technique in which particles/polymers are separated based on their hydrodynamic volume. Our Core is equipped with a Malvern OMNISEC Resolve with RI, Light Scattering and Viscosity detectors, and provide a distribution of absolute molecular weight, molecular size, and intrinsic viscosity as well as information on macromolecular structure, conformation aggregation and branching. Our system utilizes DMF as mobile phase and can be used for polymer analysis in the range of 3,000-100,000Da.

FPLC

FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) is a widely used analytical technique employed to separate polymers, proteins and other biomolecules such as nucleic acids. The Core is equipped with an AKTA FPLC system connected to the Knauer Model 2300 RI detector allowing monitoring of protein/peptide and polymer components in complex mixtures.
